Introduction
When NVIDIA's GeForce 6100/nForce 400 (Crush 51) chipset series was launched, one of the first manufacturers to have motherboards available was Foxconn. They had then graciously provided us with a sample motherboard (6100K8MA-RS) for our performance preview article. Since then, we've also reviewed a full retail board from Gigabyte (GA-K8N51GMF-9). However, both of these boards were based on the entry-level GeForce 6100 GPU without the more advanced video capabilities of the GeForce 6150 part. These boards were perfectly positioned for the OEM office workstation but frankly, wasn't all that interesting.
Recently, Foxconn shipped us another motherboard based on the C51 and this time around, what we received was a retail 6150K8MA-8EKRS, a motherboard based on the GeForce 6150 and nForce 430 instead. Needless to say, we put it through its paces immediately to find out if the GeForce 6150 is really the new king of integrated chipsets.
