Singapore, May 18, 2006 -- LG introduces the LW25 EXPRESS DUAL, the successor to LG’s 2005 hit product--its 12-inch notebook PC, LW20 EXPRESS, dubbed a ‘portable multimedia powerhouse’.
The LW25’s enhanced performance is now derived from a powerful dual-core processor. Moreover, LW25 EXPRESS DUAL employs the latest BlueCore4 technology, which allows for even faster wireless connection with other devices. It supports Gigabit Ethernet, which enables faster networking.
LW25 EXPRESS DUAL with Super Multi ODD eliminates the hassle of docking. It allows for replaying and recording of all existing optical media formats, and supports dual-layer media to enable recording of up to 8.5GB data on a single DVD. What’s more, LW25 EXPRESS DUAL is built to support Microsoft’s new operating system, Vista, which is scheduled to be unveiled next year.
LW25 EXPRESS DUAL weighs only 1.89 kg, including batteries and an ODD. Also, it uses one six-cell, 5,400-mAh battery instead of the six-cell, 4,800-mAh battery used in the existing LW20 EXPRESS, allowing it to operate for up to six hours. And users will be glad to know that the notebook comes with a 3-year warranty and first year international warranty.
Said Mr Howard Lee, Managing Director of LG Electronics Singapore, “With the new LW25, we now have a full line-up of dual-core processor notebook PCs. LG is the only brand in the market that currently features 8 Intel Centrino duo core models.”
